What to apply, and when

Stage timing comes from agricultural-university research (cited). Doses are Urvar's own label doses, shown per katha with bigha and acre equivalents.

    In ICAR-NRC Litchi trials on a 10–12-year-old 'Shahi' orchard (Muzaffarpur, Bihar), four monthly foliar sprays from October to January improved flowering and fruit retention.

    When skin turns pinkish-red and pulp TSS reaches 18°Brix1

    Fruit maturity & harvest

    In the Muzaffarpur trials, fruit maturity was judged by skin colour (bright pinkish-red with flattened tubercles) and pulp sweetness (TSS) reaching 18°Brix, rather than a fixed calendar date.

Common questions

How do I convert a per-katha dose to bigha or acre?

Multiply by 20 for a West Bengal bigha (1 bigha = 20 katha), or by about 60.5 for an acre. Every dose on this page already shows all three.
